If you are packaging the bottle yourself, please wrap it thoroughly in bubble wrap and place it in a sturdy box. Ensure there is no room for the bottle to move around inside the box. If your bottle has a gift box, place it alongside the bottle.
If we are using our own courier to collect your stock, you don’t need to do anything. If the bottles are already packed in boxes, or are in original cases, we will collect them as they are. Our driver will also bring empty packaging with him, should you need any more.
If we are sending you specialist packaging, please simply place the bottles upright in the packaging. There will be return labels included in the packing, so please stick these over the existing labels
Place the bottles upright in the packaging provided, and attach the return labels.
When using the packaging that we provide, it’s safest to remove bottles from their gift boxes, so neither the box nor the bottle get damaged in transit. We will leave space in the packaging so you can wrap the box in bubble wrap and place it alongside the bottle. If you have a large box or bottle, we may provide separate packages for them.
Please don’t try to put the bottle and box in to the packaging together in one tube, or squeeze the box in amongst the bottles when there isn’t room, as pictured below.
If we have sent you packaging, it’s safest to remove the bottles from their wooden case and to use the packaging provided for transit.
To open the case, please use a hammer and chisel to gently tap up underneath the pins in the lid. Work your way around the case evenly, doing your best not to damage or splinter the lid.
Depending on the size and value of your case, we will either leave space in the packaging for it to go alongside the bottles, or will provide an additional box and bubble wrap for the empty case. For lower value cases, we will send you an additional return label and fragile stickers, which you can stick directly onto the case itself.
If we have sent you packaging, it’s safest to remove the bottles from their cardboard case and to use the packaging provided for transit.
When opening original cardboard cases, please avoid tearing any perforations. It’s best to carefully open the glued down flaps, which can then be more easily stuck back down when the stock arrives with us.
If the labels on your bottles are torn or are fragile, it is safest to wrap the bottle in clingfilm before placing it into our packaging. This avoids the risk that any further damage could occur.
Please do not put your bottles upside down in the packaging, or lie the bottles flat inside the box. This can cause the cork to move in transit.
If you think we have not provided enough packaging for the number of bottles you have, please do not try to force the extra bottles into the existing package. Please contact us, as there may be a misunderstanding as to which bottles we are buying, or how many of them you have.
